1. I attended twelve schools on three continents before I graduated from college.
2. I used to sleep at parties.
3. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and have no idea where I am, even when I'm at home.
4. I have a sporadically eidetic memory, in that things from movies, music, and books get stuck in my head and won't leave.
5. I have only been in two fights, both at the age of ten, and both of which I lost.
6. My father, my brothers, and I do a splendid rendition of "Pico & Sepulveda."
7. I keep 1,000 yen in my wallet at all times, just in case.
8. I call people "boss," "big guy," "chief," and "brother" way too much.

Ah, the wonders of a military upbringing....
And why on earth would you sleep at parties?!
To get my second wind, of course. I'd show up, party hard, then find a quiet corner, sleep for 30 minutes or so, and then keep going until 4 in the morning. It's all part of being an introvert at heart while being an extrovert on the outside.
