34

is not quite half of 74, the current average life expectancy of males born and raised in the United States. Therefore, I have not yet reached middle age. That will do very nicely.

Yoko, who is the bestest wife in the whole wide world, gave me The Cat Empire's eponymous CD and TripleJ's Hottest 100 for 2002, as well as Bladerunner and Matrix: Reloaded on DVD. She also got me the Belkin Nostromo Speedpad n50, which is so very, very cool. My technolust is sated. My musical needs are met. Did I happen to mention that she also cooked me a lamb dinner with brussel sprouts (my favorite veggies) on the side?

Heck, why am I still typing this at you? I should be in bed with the bestest wife ever! And I will be! Goodnight!

Bestest. Wife. Ever.

So totally stealing her from you. Oh wait.

Heh! You made Yoko laugh. :)

Happy birthday, fellow unmet! Anyone who is a fan of Brussels sprouts is OK by me.

Brussel sprouts are like edible and bite-size cabbages. This is pleasing to me somehow.

And thank you!

Not one to blow my own horn, except on the Internet. Besides, then you guys woulda planned a party, and there'd have been the requisite ton of chocolate mousse, and then when I tried to leave as early as I did, you would have turned on me and drowned me in the chocolate mousse, which, of course, would not have been a terrible end but would have prevented me from eating the delicious dinner that Yoko made the next night.

So, as you can plainly see, it's best I kept my mouth shut. ;)

Happy Birthday!! I'd sing the Viking song at you, but it's been done to death. ;-) Glad to know you had a good one. *hugs*

Birthday?
