I work with the coolest people ever.
Case in point: Party A needs payment for labor on one of my labs. The account number I gave her to cover the costs has no money in it (due to the regular money shuffling that occurs in the city). Instead of pitching a fit, she left me a very nice voice-mail explaining the situation. I called our accounting office and explained the situation to them. They replied that this was no problem; since the funds existed and were simply in a different account, they just move the funds back over to the old account. I thanked them for their time and called Party A, relayed the information (and relevant phone numbers for our accounting office), and she thanked me for my time and wished me a pleasant day.
All within ten minutes.
This is the way things should work.
