Just wanted to get a shout-out to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tagryn and donnafair for the lovely dinner and conversation on Tuesday night in the DC area. Tom and Donna are lovely people and great company; we laughed and joked all evening. I've known Tom online since 1990, but this is the first time we actually got to meet in person; I hope that the next time they're in the Bay Area, Yoko and I can return the favor.
Also, a huge shout-out tonarwhale for the dinner and beers in China Town in DC on Wednesday. Meeting people IRL for the first time can be awkward, but narwhale's an outgoing person with an excellent outlook on life, a great sense of humor, and a keen understanding of where you want to be when the Zombie Apocalypse start.
Thank you three for the great time, and I look forward to hanging out the next time I'm in the DC area. I promise not to bring the 100 degree temperatures and the godawful humidity next time.
