All I'm saying is that if you're not attending the rally, don't bother trying to drive in the City this weekend.
- From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, there will be an anti-war demonstration and march that will begin at Dolores Park (16th and Mission) and end at Jefferson Park (Turk and Laguna). Up to 20,000 participants are anticipated.
From 12:00 noon on Saturday to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, there will be a Love Parade and Festival. The parade will start at Market and Second Streets and wind up at Civic Center Plaza. Up to 25,000 marchers and 27 floats are expected, and perhaps 50,000 people are anticipated at Civic Center Plaza for an outdoor music/food/beverage event which will last until 9:00 p.m. and then move inside the Civic Auditorium until 4:00 a.m. There will be road closures all around the Civic Center and significant traffic congestion.
