You can now have as many Syndicated Feeds in your Friends list as you like. (Users were previously limited to a certain number of feeds based on a really bizarre points system that rated feeds according to their popularity; very popular feeds were inexpensive, points-wise, whereas your loner friend's RSS feed was prohibitively expensive, points-wise.)

In a perverse way, that's too bad. I was sort of enjoying watching the cost of mkb_hiptop creep down. I recognize how stupid that sounds, but it's true.

I find that Live Journal's RSS handling is a little problematic. I am considering moving most of my feeds to Shrook, since it has a web interface as well. As a fellow Mac-guy you may want to check it out.
