From a longer article:
'One of them is Ahmad Hikmat Shakir Azzawi, identified as an al Qaeda "fixer" in Malaysia.'

Ah, "an al Qaeda 'fixer'" in Kuala Lumpur in the 21st century.

I guess this means we're now all living in R. Talsorian's Cyberpunk 2020. Of course, since we all have LJs, I guess that makes most of us Medias. And here I always thought I'd be a RockerBoy.

(CP2020 Roles can be further explored here, but I don't recommend it because the background image will make you want to claw your eyes out.)

Wow, that makes... sense. I want those implantable chips with the skills in them, though. Except those sound pretty quaint compared to what I think we're actually going to get.

Most excellent. Mind you, I'm not implanting anything into my body that I can't easily upgrade (i.e., without further surgery). God, to be stuck with the bioware version of Windows....

Oh, and by the way, you do know my cell phone number right? Def-bury. In the 5 and dime area code. 'Cos you know I have a baseball bat and a pickup truck and an overprotective big brother complex.

Not that you can't handle these things yourself (as amply demonstrated), but you might want someone to hold him down while you shift the pliers around.

Aw, thanks, Erik. I will note your number down next to the security number here. But I am fine. I really think he was just a confused drunk; he didn't seem angry or cruel, just wildly inappropriate. The security folks here are investigating whether he even lives here; it sounds like he might not.

Actually, the idea of character classes makes me want to claw my eyes out.

At some point I really would like to run that space campaign I worked up.
