So, the A's lost, the Governator's on his way in, and I've got the motivation of a salted slug. Not looking good for the home team.

On the bright side, NASA's successfully flown a laser-powered aircraft. It's hard to stay gloomy when Science! keeps making nifty neat-o progress like this.
