No doubt! This is what some people don't get about Nuke power: respect it and plan around the dangers, and it works. Let your guard down for one moment (or repair cycle), and you're screwed.
It is too bad they can't build nuke plants in deserts (or underground) & transfer the power out. That way, if something bad happens, at least there isn't widespread damage to farmland & population centers, but I think most nuclear designs require a source of water to keep the reactor cool. Perhaps pebble bed designs will get around this problem.
