siriosa and foomf pointed out, they (they, you know, them) are making a movie of The Golden Compass. Most excellent. In celebration (and promotion), there's a beautiful little web-thing on the site to help you find your own Daemon. Mine's behind the cut:
It's worth noting here that Herman Hesse introduced the idea of Daemons in his underappreciated classic Demian. I would highly recommend this book.
